One Year of Growth, Community and Momentum at ESN

A Year of Building Something Better – Together

As we reflect on the past year at the Event Supplier Network (ESN), one thing is clear: when event professionals commit to community, real momentum follows.

Over the last 12 months, ESN has seen membership grow by over 490% – a clear signal that the events industry is actively seeking connection, collaboration and meaningful support.

This growth hasn’t come from noise or hype. It’s come from people choosing to be part of something shared.

Growing Visibility and Engagement

Alongside membership growth, ESN’s reach has expanded rapidly:

  • Website traffic increased by nearly 500% year-on-year
  • LinkedIn followers grew by over 620%, reflecting a growing appetite for trusted industry insight, conversation and opportunity
  • Linkedin posts reached over 148,000 Linkedin users!

Behind these numbers are event professionals discovering:

  • New collaborators
  • Supportive peer networks
  • Inclusive and accessible ways of working
  • Opportunities that simply don’t exist alone

Partnerships That Reflect Our Values

This year, ESN proudly:

  • Sponsored the inaugural Accessible Events Show, championing accessibility across the industry
  • Became an Association Partner of the Event Supplier Awards (International Confex)
  • Partnered with NOWIE (Network of Women in Events)
  • Worked with InPD to support leadership and professional development
  • Collaborated with Bowhill Recruitment to help event businesses build stronger teams

Each partnership was built around long-term value – not just visibility.

From Online to In-Person Connection

We also launched ESN Networking Hubs, bringing the community together face-to-face.

Our first two hubs in Hertfordshire and Sheffield saw almost 100 event professionals register, confirming a strong demand for purposeful, local networking spaces.

Alongside this, we delivered online masterclasses covering:

  • Business growth and leadership
  • ADHD awareness and inclusive workplace practices

Because sustainable businesses are built by supported people.

Looking Ahead

Next year brings even more opportunity:

  • Additional regional networking hubs
  • New strategic partnerships
  • Expanded learning and development
  • Greater advocacy for event suppliers
  • Increased visibility and opportunity for members

If you believe in a more connected, collaborative and accessible events industry, we’d love you to be part of what comes next.

We can only do this with your support, so if you would like to join in and bring your skills, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for skilled professionals who are able to give a couple of hours a month to help with organising networking hubs, marketing, advocacy, community building, so if this is what you are good at, get in touch hello@eventsupplier.network
